The subject of this one week workshop was machine vision, or the analysis and treatment of visual data by a computer. We chose to work on a visual representation of the sound spectrum of an audio file recorded in the workshop room. We used the intensity of the different bands to determine the engraving power of the laser cutter on foam. The different prototypes that were produced provide reflexions on walls with variable acoustic properties.
